Raymond Pettibon's illustration for Sonic Youth's Goo LP has become one of the most celebrated album covers of all time, inspiring countless memes and variations. My Friend Goo collects almost a hundred iterations and uses them as a case study for the way that culture duplicates, mutates and proliferates.
