Artist statement:
i like to go for walks-
i don't drive
i like canadian history though i don't have a great memory
i notice the little things it makes me happy
these little things these L.T.(little things) make me make it thru the day
i often don't notice the street names but the buildings
everyplace has it's own charm
the walking tour maps i do are performative if i talk you through a walk of my drawing
i often enjoy not one answer but many answers
you start to see patterns in places and people
it often gets confusing
i'm trying to find some life in this easy going place comfortable at times too easy...dull?
trying to see a bit of what is left of the recent past the stories i hear
the fears in parkdale vs
the 5 dollar cupcakes in liberty village and feeling
like you must dress up to shop at the 24hr metro
all within a few blocks
